Zurich Workshops

What can I expect of the workshops?

The bootcamp workshops are intense, fast paced 90 minute learning sessions, with a lot of information packed into a short amount of time.

They are designed to provide you with a good working base and the information and tools to take your small biz to the next level, but due to the nature of the bootcamp there won’t be enough time to explore participants’ individual scenarios.

What do I need bring to a Zurich workshop?

Your curiosity and the thirst and drive to start something new.

Laptops are not required, but can be brought along to take notes or check out links to recommended services. The Volkshaus offers public WiFi (see below).

If you are taking a full-day workshop you will have to bring your own lunch or eat at one of the restaurants in the area during the lunch break.

Is there WiFi at the Volkshaus?

Yes, there is a public WiFi in the Green Room with 50 MB/s download speed. However, it IS a public Wlan for several rooms in the house and lots of people using it, so don’t expect a super fast performance.

Where is the Volkshaus and how do I get there?

The Volkshaus is located on Stauffacherstrasse 60, 8004 Zürich.

Public transport
trams # 2, 3, 9 and 14 until Stauffacher stop
or tram # 8 until Helvetiaplatz stop
or bus # 32 until Helvetiaplatz stop

By car
Parking is difficult in the area, your best bets are
City Parking Zürich, Parkhaus with 620 spots, open 24/7)
Parking Stauffachertor, Werdstrasse 6, 8004 (Parkhaus with only 60 spots)

Volkshaus

Where is the Green Room in the Volkshaus?

The entrance to the seminar rooms of the Volkshaus is located between the Cafe Bar Volkshaus and the bookshop on Stauffacherstrasse at the base of the clock tower (see image below). Once through the door, walk up the steps (or take the lift) to the first floor, then turn right to find the Green Room (Grüner Saal).

There will be signage for the workshops in the hallways, so you’ll find the bootcamp easily.
